Are You There?

If I had called, and he had answered me; yet would I not believe that he had hearkened unto my voice. Job 9:16

For he breaketh me with the tempest, and multiplieth my wounds without cause.

Job 9:17

Job here wondered....God are you there??? Through Job's trial and afflictions which went on for almost 2 years he did much praying to God. Through this time God hasn't answered him a word. Job began to think God maybe hasn't heard him, his friends also began to think that Job must have definitely sinned since he was still sick and continually praying to God without an answer. Job found out it was a test of his faith and dedication to God. God does finally speak to Job and Job's friends and sets the record straight for some things they said and assumed about Job's condition. Friend please take courage today...GOD WORKS IN HIS TIME NOT OURS. We see toward the end of the book of Job that God healed him and gave him back twice as much as he had before. Job lost everything during his trial except for his wife and she said; "Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. You may feel that God is not there but I assure you according to scripture he is. Read Psalms 34:18
